Before submitting your project for translation, there are a few key things you should ask yourself and provide to the translator. Take this into consideration to make the translation go as smoothly as possible:

  1. You should stop and consider if your document should be handled by someone who specializes in a specific market such as legal, medical, or technical translation.
  2. If your document has wording specifically pertaining to an English phrase or word, provide some background information to the translators.
  3. In a lot of sensitive business documentation, terminology plays a greater role for a translators because certain words or phrases do not translate in every language smoothly.

Translation can be a grueling process, and the utmost of patience is needed, particularly when handling terminology!
