How it works

Three steps, with one account manager from quote to delivery

  1. Send your document

Upload it on our website, or send it by email, text message, messenger or fax. You can also bring it to 55 Broadway by appointment.

  2. Get a fixed quote

Every inquiry gets a client number in our CRM, so the account manager who quotes your job is the one who delivers it. Phone, email, chat or in person: a human answers.

  3. Receive the translation

A certified PDF by email. If an office wants paper, notarized hard copies are ready for pickup at our office or sent by mail.

Quality and confidentiality

Human translators only, checked twice

We never use machine translation. Free tools like Google Translate cannot handle legal or medical terminology reliably, and they keep and reuse the text you paste in, which puts private documents at risk. Our process follows ISO 17100:2015, the international standard for translation services.

  • Screened translators. Every linguist passes our own screening and reference checks before seeing a client file.
  • Two NDAs. Translators sign our agency non-disclosure agreement, in addition to any NDA your firm requires. Only people working on your project see it.
  • A second linguist. A separate proofreader checks every translation before delivery.
  • Zero tolerance. A translator caught passing off machine output is suspended and added to a blacklist we have kept since 2010.
  • Layout rebuilt. Our in-house desktop publishing team fixes fonts, tables, stamps and seals, so the translation looks like the original in English, Chinese, Japanese, Canadian French or any other language.

Languages we translate

More than 120 languages every day, including regional variants: Spanish (Mexican, Latin American, European), French (Canadian and European), and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese), plus Korean, Vietnamese, Italian, Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish. Our network also covers rare languages such as Navajo, Khmer, Latin, Aramaic, Old Norse, Karen and Tibetan, more than 700 in all.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in New York City?

Yes. Our office is at 55 Broadway, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10006, in Lower Manhattan, and we have been in New York since 2002. It is open Monday to Thursday 10am to 6pm and Friday 10am to 5pm. Visits are by appointment: call (212) 380-1679.

Are your certified translations accepted by USCIS?

Yes. Each certified translation comes with our signed statement that the translation is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent in both languages, which is what USCIS asks for under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). New York courts, universities and most consulates accept the same certification.

How much does a translation cost?

Certified translation of a personal document is a fixed price we quote for free before any work starts. Business and technical documents start at $0.10 per word; the rate depends on the language, volume, subject and turnaround. The minimum order is $35 for certified translations, and some non-notarized projects qualify for $25.

How fast can I get my translation?

Most certified documents, such as birth certificates, diplomas and marriage certificates, are delivered within 24 hours, and same-day rush is available. Longer documents get a firm delivery date with the quote.

Can you notarize or apostille the translation?

Yes. A notary public works in our New York office, so the translator's certification can be notarized without a separate trip. We can also arrange an apostille for documents that will be used abroad.

Which languages do you translate?

More than 120 languages every day, including Spanish (Mexican, Latin American and European), Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese), Russian, Haitian Creole, Bengali, Korean, Arabic, French, Polish and Yiddish. Our translator network covers more than 700 languages, including rare ones such as Navajo, Khmer, Aramaic and Tibetan.

Do I have to come to the office?

No. Upload your document on our website or send it by email, text message, messenger or fax, and we deliver the certified translation as a PDF by email. If an office needs paper, notarized hard copies are ready for pickup at 55 Broadway or sent by mail.

Do you work with clients outside New York?

Yes. Besides New York and New Jersey, we translate for clients in San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Miami and across the US, and for clients abroad. Everything can be done online, and the certification is the same wherever you are.

Do you use machine translation?

No. Every translation is done by a screened professional translator who has signed our non-disclosure agreement, then checked by a second linguist. Free machine translators keep and reuse what you paste in, so they are not safe for private documents.

What quality standards do you follow?

Our translation process is certified to ISO 17100:2015, the international standard for translation services, and we are a corporate member of the American Translators Association. Every job is proofread by a second linguist before delivery.

How to Get a Certified Translation for USCIS (2026 Guide)

Every foreign-language document you send to USCIS needs a certified translation: a full English translation plus a signed translator's certification. That's not agency preference; it's federal regulation, spelled out in 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). In fiscal year 2024 alone, USCIS welcomed 818,500 new citizens, per official USCIS statistics, and a large share of those filings depended……

Machine vs. Human Translation in 2026: When to Use Each

Human translation wins whenever accuracy carries legal, medical, financial, or brand consequences. Choose AI for gist and volume. Choose humans (or human-reviewed AI) for anything you'd sign, file, or publish under your name. The translation industry isn't……
