FAQ
What does the Translate This Website Translator plugin do?
Adding the Translate This plugin to your blog will automatically make your content available in over fifty languages.
How does it work?
The plugin adds a small, blue button to the top of each of your posts. When a visitor hovers her cursor over or clicks the button, a small menu will appear prompting her to choose which language she wants to read your blog in. After clicking her choice, your page is instantly translated entirely into that language.
When will you be adding support for new languages?
Since the button uses Google Translate functionality, we have no control over when new languages will be available. Once Google does add a new language, we try to add support for that language as quickly as possible.
Google Translate added a new language and it's not available through Translate This. Why is that?
When Google Translate adds a new language it is not automatically available through Translate This. This is because we must make internal changes to the plugin telling it the language is available and how to handle it. We also need to add a flag image for that language. We make every effort to keep the translator's available language list as up to date as possible.
