Our New York Headquarters
Translation Services USA$24.95 per page · 24-hour delivery · Accepted by USCIS
We translate diplomas, degree certificates and academic transcripts into English and certify them for $24.95 per page. A diploma is usually one page. Transcripts are counted by page, and we confirm the count before you pay. The translation is word for word, with course names, grades and credits kept as they are in the original, which is what credential evaluators ask for. Most orders arrive as a PDF within 24 hours.

What we translate
Diplomas are short: the institution, the degree or title awarded, the field of study, the date, signatures and the university seal. Transcripts carry far more. We translate every course name, the hours or credits, each grade, the grading scale printed on the document, semester dates, the final average and the registrar's certification. The table layout stays the same, so an evaluator can read across each row and compare it with the original.
Grades stay as they are. A 9 on a ten-point scale is translated as 9, not turned into an A, and the Russian "otlichno" becomes "excellent (5)". Converting grades is the evaluator's job, and evaluators ask translators not to do it for them.
Course titles get the most care. "Derecho Procesal Civil" could be rendered several ways. We pick the term a US registrar would recognize ("Civil Procedure") and use it consistently across every semester and every document in your order.
Who asks for it
Credential evaluators are the main reason. WES, ECE, SpanTran, Josef Silny and other services turn a foreign degree into a US equivalency report, and they want an English translation of anything not issued in English. Each evaluator publishes its own requirements by country, and some want the transcript sent straight from your school, so check those first.
Universities ask for translated transcripts with graduate and transfer applications. State licensing boards for nurses, teachers, engineers and accountants ask for them before an exam or a license. Employers sponsoring an H-1B or an employment-based green card file the translated degree with USCIS, together with an evaluation, to show that the worker has the required education.

How it works
Upload a scan or a phone photo of every page, including the back if anything is written or stamped there. We don't need the original.
Your account manager checks the page count and sends the total, usually within 15 minutes during office hours. You pay by card or PayPal.
Most documents of one to three pages arrive within 24 hours, with the signed certificate of accuracy attached. Notarized hard copies can be picked up or mailed.
Requirements
Ask the evaluator or the school a few questions first. Do they accept a translation from a professional translation company? Most do, though a few want the translation to come from the school itself. Should it be uploaded, mailed, or sent together with an official transcript in a sealed envelope? And do they need both sides of the diploma? Seals and registration numbers are often printed on the back.
Our translations carry a signed certificate of accuracy, so they also meet the USCIS rule in 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) when the same documents go into a visa or green card file. If a foreign authority wants a notarized copy, the notary in our office adds it for $25.
For larger academic files, such as theses, syllabi or course descriptions, see academic translation.
Real samples
These are real Translation Services USA certified translations, with names changed and a SAMPLE watermark. Yours arrives in the same format: the certificate of accuracy first, then the full English translation on our letterhead.

FAQ
No. We translate grades exactly as they appear and translate the grading scale printed on the document. Converting them to US grades or a GPA is the job of a credential evaluator such as WES or ECE.
WES and the other large evaluators ask for complete, word-for-word English translations, and ours are made that way, with a signed certificate of accuracy. Read the evaluator's requirements for your country before you order, because for some countries the documents must reach them directly from your school.
They are separate documents, so each gets its own translation, and you can order them together. A diploma is usually one page. The transcript is priced by its own page count.
Yes. Registration numbers, seals and apostilles are often on the back, and an evaluator will expect them in the translation.
We use the closest standard term and, where a literal version helps, add it in brackets. The same course is translated the same way everywhere in your file.
