Announcing Ackuna’s 7th, and coolest, translation contest: Linguistic Frostbite!
Exciting news! We’ve officially launched Ackuna’s 7th and coolest contest for the Winter season!
Developers, do you have an app you’ve always wanted to get translated into multiple languages, but either didn’t know how to go about the process or didn’t want to spend the money to do it? Or have you used Ackuna in the past but have another app you’d like to get translated?
For our latest contest, we are choosing 10 apps to use. All you have to do is go to our developer’s section on our website and follow the instructions to submit your app for consideration. Very easy!
For those that are new to Ackuna, we provide developers with the opportunity to upload their app files and receive free human crowdsourced translations from over 10,000 bilingual translators who use Ackuna on a regular basis. By using Ackuna, you can offer more accurate multilingual versions of your apps to grow your global audience without having to spend a dime on translation services.
In the ‘Linguistic Frostbite‘ Translation Contest you can not only get your app translated into multiple languages, but you will also receive some great prizes if we choose your app to be used for the contest. This includes $100 credit to use on Ackuna.com, $100 credit toward the Translation Cloud API, a year’s subscription to Multilingual Magazine, and best of all, tons of FREE PROMOTION of your app on our website and a link for viewers to download it from your chosen app store!

The deadline for app submissions is at midnight (Eastern Time) on Thursday, December 31, 2015 so all submissions MUST be received by then. The winning apps will be revealed on Monday, January 4th at which time the translators will start their portion of the contest.
